EASTLAKE -- A man is dead after he reportedly got into an altercation with a longtime acquaintance, according to Eastlake police.
Officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of East 354th Street just after 6 p.m. Monday and found Timothy R. Martz, 54, dead.
The cause of death has not been determined, and the Lake County coroner's office will be conducting an autopsy.
According to police, the suspect contacted family members after the incident, and they were able to convince him to go to the police station, where he turned himself in without incident.
He is currently in the Eastlake jail and is cooperating with investigators.
The death remains under investigation.
