MENTOR, Ohio — The ultimate beach party is returning to Mentor this weekend!
On Saturday, July 15, Headlands BeachFest will take place at Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor. The festival, highlighted by world-class sand sculptures, will have food, entertainment, sand, water and fun.
The event, which is taking place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., first began in 2014 and attracts nearly 15,000 visitors from across Northeast Ohio and surrounding states.
The Ohio Master Sand Sculpting competition will feature three world-champion sand sculptors who will build their creations over the course of four days. Work on the sculptures began on Wednesday and will be completed on Saturday afternoon.
