A Pennsylvania woman nearly drove her car into the lake Sunday.
According to police, officers arrived to a call at Mentor Beach Park, where they found a 43-year-old intoxicated woman walking around the park. She was taken to Lake West Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and charged with OVI.
Police say the woman drove her car through the parking lot, crashed through a wooden post and continued to drive north. The car came to a stop on the rocks right before the lake.
The woman told police she believed she was in Euclid.
A towing company had to remove the car.
