CLEVELAND — A Painesville man died Saturday night after being ejected from his motorcycle in a crash in Lake County, troopers said.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 10:42 p.m. Saturday on Narrows Road near the intersection of State Route 84 in the village of Perry.
A 45-year-old man was driving a 1984 Honda Goldwing motorcycle south on Narrows Road when it veered off the side of the road and flipped, troopers said. The man was ejected from the motorcycle and died of his injuries at the scene.
Troopers say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Alcohol "appeared," to be a factor, they said.
The highway patrol is still investigating the crash.
