WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio — The Willoughby-Eastlake school district is asking 75 of its students and three of its teachers to immediately learn remotely after a sixth grader tested positive for COVID-19.
Superintendent Steve Thompson confirmed to 3News' Romney Smith the student is a member of the School of Innovation in Willoughby Hills, and that all sixth grade classes in that building will move to remote learning starting Thursday. The child's exact condition is unknown at this time.
