PAINESVILLE -- A 76-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
Authorities say it happened Tuesday around 5:26 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Erie Street in Painesville. The woman was taken from the scene to a nearby hospital where she later died.
Police are asking anybody who may have witnessed the accident to call 440-392-5840.
No additional details have been released.
