CLEVELAND -- The newest Cleveland banner is up, just in time before the Cavaliers opener against the New York Knicks.
Crowds watched Thursday the unveiling of the new LeBron James banner on the wall of the Sherwin Williams building, overlooking the Quicken Loans Arena in downtown.
Believe it or not the banner weighs more than a ton.
In September, the Cleveland Design Review Commission and Planning Commission approved the proposed artwork for the new Nike mural to go up.
It features the familiar image of LeBron's signature chalk dust toss. However, the proposed billboard does not have the "We are all witnesses" wording of the original.
