ELYRIA -- Ten people were arrested last week as officers in Lorain County closed 12 open drug cases and seized three weapons.
According to Elyria police, the 10 arrested are considered "street level drug dealers."
They operated mainly out of the city of Elyria and sold small amounts heroine and cocaine on a daily basis, police say. Along with the weapons, authorities say they seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana and about $4,000 cash.
The following individuals were arrested:
- Khire Lateef, 21, Toledo, two counts trafficking cocaine and possession of cocaine.
- Jermaine Washington, 32, Elyria,trafficking in cocaine.
- Natelle Sims, 24, Elyria, trafficking in heroin, criminal tools and possession of marijuana.
- Ean King, 25, Elyria, trafficking in heroin.
- Pierre Alston, 34, Elyria, trafficking in heroin.
- Calvin L. Williams, 31, Elyria, two counts of trafficking in heroin, trafficking cocaine.
- Sadao Waters, 29, Lorain, trafficking in heroin.
- Latasha Woods-Waters, 27, Lorain, permitting drug abuse, trafficking in heroin and possessing criminal tools.
- Carlos Inman, 31, Elyria, trafficking in cocaine.
- Roy Killings, 27, Elyria, trafficking heroin.
