OBERLIN, Ohio — The popular discount supermarket chain ALDI is set to open a new Northeast Ohio location, this time in Oberlin.
Thursday, January 19 will mark the grand opening of the grocery store. With the opening, they are making sure customers that shop with them on the first day have an opportunity to go home with more than just grocery items at a great price.
According to a release from ALDI, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of ALDI Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program.
First day shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.
For those unfamiliar with the german multinational, family-owned supermarket chain, this is what ALDI says you can expect if you shop at the newest Oberlin location:
"The newest ALDI store will offer fresh, organic produce delivered daily, an unmatched selection of cheese and wine, and food for every taste and lifestyle (gluten-free, plant-based, whatever you need) in addition to convenient access to curbside pickup and grocery delivery options."
Located on 14885 OH-58, the store will be opened daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for five years running,” said Corey Stucker, Hinckley regional vice president for ALDI. “We have served neighboring communities for nearly 35 years and are excited to offer Oberlin residents an affordable way of shopping.”
