AVON, Ohio — A man wanted in the deaths of his parents in Virginia was arrested in Avon, Saturday evening.
Avon Police responded to a call for "suspicious condition", Saturday evening. According to the call, a man was seen driving on SR 83 north of Chester Road with no lights or license plates and a missing tire.
Police pulled over the Honda Accord for a traffic stop and then arrested 53-year-old Robert Raff, on an outstanding warrant in Virginia.
According to WWBT, Raff whose real name is James Ralph is wanted for the murders his parents, Jan and Victoria Ralph.
Their reports indicated that the pair was killed at their home in the 1000 block of Castle Hollow Road. Their bodies were discovered when police performed a wellness check at the home Saturday, February 2.
The investigation is ongoing.
Ralph is currently being held at the Lorain County Sheriff's Department and is awaiting extradition proceedings.
