AVON LAKE, Ohio — Step aside, April the giraffe. You have some competition.
A trio of bald eagle eggs have been spotted in a nest outside the Redwood Elementary in Avon Lake.
All three eggs were spotted in the nest earlier this month. A live camera shows the eggs being incubated.
It takes approximately 35 days for eagle eggs to hatch, according to wildlife officials. That means these eggs should hatch in early April.
