ELYRIA, Ohio — The Elyria Police Department announced the arrest of three men in connection to a shooting that took place over the weekend.

On Sunday, November 17 at approximately 2:16 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Settle Inn on Lake Avenue.

When officers arrived, they learned that a "disturbance" involving multiple people escalated to gunfire outside of the business.

No injuries were reported, but those involved in the incident fled the scene before the officers arrived. One vehicle and a nearby residence were struck by the gunfire.

After an initial investigation took place, Elyria police were able to identify three suspects: Johnny Boone, Khayden McFarland and Kamran Dukes.

On Tuesday, Boone and McFarland were arrested by members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Hours later, Dukes was located at an Elyria residence. He voluntarily surrendered to police.

During the arrest of all three suspects, officers recovered four firearms while searching the residences.

Elyria police continue to investigate this incident. They ask anyone with additional information to contact Detective Loesch at 440-326-1205 or via email at tloesch@cityofelyria.org.

All three suspects have been transported to the Lorain County Jail.
