LORAIN -- Officials arrested a man who they say shot a family relative Thursday evening.
48-year-old Louis Rodriguez was being held against his will by 30-year-old Emmanuel Rodriguez, at 421 W. 15th St., according to Lorain Police.
Police were told that Emmanuel was holding a shotgun and shot Louis once in the chest.
When police arrived on scene, they heard another gunshot from inside the house.
Moments later, Emmanuel walked out the front door, where police immediately arrested him, according to the police report.
Emmanuel faces charges of attempted murder and weapons under disability.
Louis was sent by Life Care to the MetroHealth Medical Center. He is currently in stable condition.
