CLEVELAND — A man is in custody on murder and other charges after a woman was shot and killed in the city of Lorain on Tuesday evening, police said.

Lorain police responded to several calls reporting shots fired in the area of East 31st Street and Pearl Avenue during the "late evening hours" of Tuesday.
