Officials seek help identifying armed bank robbery suspect in Wellington

WELLINGTON, Ohio — The Cleveland Division of FBI and the Wellington Police Department are seeking the public's help identifying a man wanted for the armed robbery of a bank Wednesday. 

A man in a brown ski mask entered the Fifth Third Bank located at 161 E. Herrick Avenue at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon and waved a gun at employees while demanding money. 

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No physical injuries were reported. 

No further information is available at this time. 

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the unknown suspect should contact the Wellington PD at 440-647-2244, the Cleveland Division of the FBI at 216-522-1400, or Crime Stoppers.  

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the person responsible. Tips can remain anonymous.
