SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio — One person has been life-flighted following a head-on collision on I-90 Eastbound in Sheffield Village.
According to Sheffield Village Police Chief, William Visalden Jr., the driver of a White Ford vehicle entered I-90 westbound at SR254 and immediately began losing control of the vehicle.
The unknown driver crossed the highway's median and hit a Black Ford Edge traveling eastbound head-on.
Sheffield Village Police shut down the highway for about an hour on Saturday evening, causing traffic to back up for miles.
Chief Visalden told 3News that the passenger in the white Ford is the life-flighted victim.
