A "cash mob" has descended on Gibson's Bakery in Oberlin as a response to protests that took place there over the weekend.
According to The Chronicle-Telegram, community members showed out at Gibson's to shop, a way of supporting the bakery after it was accused of racial profiling last week.
Oberlin College students protested outside the store late last week when 19-year-old Jonathan Aladin was accused of shoplifting wine from the store.
Police say bakery owner Allyn Gibson was attacked after confronting Aladin. The scuffle reportedly spilled into the street and two females also became involved.
Protesters claimed Aladin was racially profiled and that the bakery has a history of discrimination. Aladin and two others were arrested.
