Social media reacts to Confederate flag being sold at Lorain County Fair

We received passionate responses on both sides of the question as to whether Confederate flags should be allowed to be sold by vendors at the Lorain County Fair.

We asked for your comments and you delivered.

On Monday's Channel 3 News at 6, Leon Bibb took a close look at the controversy at the Lorain County Fair involving vendors who choose to sell the Confederate flag and offered his commentary.

The vendor Leon talked to and the Lorain County Fair Board president point out that there is the First Amendment to consider and the right for a seller to offer the controversial flag for purchase.

But what the flag represents for Leon is slavery and a system that was designed to keep people apart and held underfoot. In Leon's words, 'while a vendor has a right to sell it, he has a responsibility not to sell it.'
