VERMILION, Ohio -- A Vermilion woman has been indicted in the five-year-old murder of her husband.
Julene Simko, was indicted Thursday and reported to the Lorain County Jail and posted bond Friday, according to her lawyer, Jack Bradley.
Officers were called to a home at 2001 North Ridge Road just after 6 a.m. Nov. 18, 2009, and found Jeremy Simko, 36, dead of a gunshot wound in a bedroom.
Bradley say he and Julene Simko continue to contend Jeremy Simko was shot by an intruder.
Julene Simko has said she fired a gun that night to scare off the intruder.
Julene Simko was indicted for aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and other charges related to the death of her husband, according to Bradley.
