LeBron James, Maria Shriver and Natalie Morales among celebrities evacuated during California wildfires

The Getty Fire in Southern California and the Kincade Fire in Northern California have placed close to 100,000 buildings in the danger zone.

LOS ANGELES — The Kincade and Getty wildfires are raging on the West Coast, and the latter in particular forced LeBron James, Natalie Morales and Maria Shriver to evacuate their homes in Southern California.

James tweeted early this morning that he was driving around searching for a place to stay after he had to get out of the danger zone from to the Getty Fire, which started as a brush fire near the Getty Center in Los Angeles, 3News Digital Anchor Stephanie reported on Monday's Lunch Break with Jay Crawford.

More than 400 acres are burning near the 405 highway, according to fire officials, placing more than 10,000 buildings including homes and businesses in the mandatory evacuation zone.

Up North, it's worse where the Kincade Fire in Sonoma County's wine country is going strong, being fueled by 40-50 mph gusts of wind.

As of early this morning,  66,231 acres have been burnt and only five percent of the fire is under control, according to CALFIRE.

Back down South, James did eventually find a place to take his family, and warned others to comply with evacuation orders.

James tweeted that he's praying "for all the families in the area that could be affected by these fires."
