Solon Police say a man accidentally discharged a weapon he was carrying at the Miles Farmers Market about 1:40 p.m. today. Police say no one was injured except the man, who sustained a graze from the bullet.

The market is located at 28560 Miles Road, just east of Brainard Road.

Solon Police Lt. Bruce Felton said police have charged Stanley Marecki, 55, of Parma Heights with discharging a firearm. Marecki had a concealed carry permit and was reaching into his pocket for his keys when the gun discharged.

A witness tells WKYC that Marecki was in the checkout line at the time.

The Miles Farmers Market owner tells WKYC confirms that the man had a concealed carry permit and was checking out when he reached into his pocket and the gun discharged.

The owner said the bullet hit the floor and shattered into pieces and that no one else was injured.

Felton said it appears the man was grazed by the bullet and was saying he didn't want any medical attention.
