MEDINA, Ohio — Ho ho ho!
Although there may be no snow, if you travel to Medina you’ll find a house that’s full of the Christmas spirt.
“We just like to give back where we can. We appreciate the Medina and the surrounding communities do for us,” said homeowner Justin Licursi.
For the past three years, Licursi has decorated the outside of his house for all to see, his yard not only standing out because of the light show but for the historic display pieces in it.
Some of the display pieces date back decades to the 60s, 70s and the 90s. He tells us a lot of the items are hard-to-find vintage pieces, which brings back some fun nostalgia for all.
With the help of his neighbors, the setup took about three weeks and more than 80 hours -- but he says the hardest part was the unpredictable Ohio weather.
And the weather doesn’t always have him in the Christmas spirt -- they say sometimes he’s like the Grinch.
“We do the Ginch this year. It’s one week only: December 17, 18, 19 from 6-10 p.m. We're raising money for St. Jude this year, so come on out and meet the Grinch."
They also are offering Grinch FaceTime video chats, all proceeds are going toward our St Jude donations. It's $5 per minute with a two-minute minimum.
If you want to see the display in person, you can visit at 6321 Shadow Creek Drive.
