MEDINA, Ohio — Two people are in custody following accusations they held a man at gunpoint after the victim paid a woman for a massage in Medina County.

According to the department, the victim recounted paying "an unknown female" $180 for a massage that was supposed to take place at a home within the 6700 block of Branch Road in Medina. Once the man arrived at the house on Wednesday, Boyd led him to a back bedroom and left before Bardo arrived and pulled both a shotgun and pistol, holding the victim at gunpoint "for a period of time."

The victim was eventually allowed to go without further incident, but claims he "continued to receive threatening calls" from both suspects. After contacting detectives and describing the weapons he saw, he identified both Boyd and Bardo from a photo lineup.

The Medina County SWAT Team searched the Branch Road residence on Thursday and reported finding several firearms, while the county's drug task force and Ohio State Highway Patrol combined to capture Boyd and Bardo to the northeast in Cleveland. A handgun was also recovered from Bardo's vehicle, per authorities.

Possible court dates for Boyd and Bardo have not been made public. A records search did not indicate a prior felony history for either in Medina County.
