Medina County SWAT situation ends with man in custody

Authorities tell 3News the situation came to an end around 6:45 a.m.

LODI, Ohio — The all-clear has been given after a SWAT situation in Medina County early Wednesday morning in the area of Railroad and Bank streets in Lodi.

3News' Austin Love was at the scene where authorities say the incident ended around 6:45 a.m. with a man in custody after he allegedly barricaded himself inside a garage for several hours.

Authorities say the call came in around 1:30 a.m. 3News also learned that an emergency text had been sent to those in the area.

Authorities also tell 3News they deployed gas during the incident.
