Charges against man accused of killing wife, mother-in-law in Medina announced, prosecutor's to seek death penalty

MEDINA, Ohio — The Medina County Prosecutor's Office announced charges against a man accused of killing his wife and mother-in-law in a press conference with members of the media Tuesday. 

Robert Dick, 52, was indicted on two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, and three counts of kidnapping, according to the Prosecutor's Office. 

Robert is accused of fatally shooting Pamela Dick, 46, and her mother, Lillian Cox, 84, Thursday, August 6 at a home in the 600 block of Layfayette around 4:30 p.m.

Robert was quickly identified as the suspect and his truck was located in West Salem. After an hours-long manhunt, he found in a wooded area and taken into custody.
