Medina police: Pedestrian struck by car in Public Square

Medina police say the pedestrian was transported to Medina Hospital and then flown to a secondary hospital.

MEDINA, Ohio — An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Medina.

Police say the incident happened at around 11:24 a.m. on Monday in Medina's Public Square. 

The pedestrian was transported to Medina Hospital, where police say she was then flown to a secondary hospital. The individual's condition is unknown. 

At this time, crash remains under investigation. The roadway was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.

Officials noted that the driver stayed at the scene has been fully cooperative throughout the investigation.
