Ohio State Highway Patrol officials say the crash happened on Wednesday at around 8:57 p.m. when a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe drove off the right side of Bellus Road in Hinckley.

The driver, who has since been identified as Todd Rebick of Hinckley, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say that Rebick was not wearing a set belt at the time of the crash. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash.

Bellus Road was closed near the crash following the accident for nearly two hours. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Hinckley Township Police Department, Hinckley Township Fire Department / EMS and Medina County Coroner’s Office.
