Doctor from Wadsworth arrested in undercover sex sting

SALEM, Ohio — Hang Yin, a 34-year-old doctor from Wadsworth, was arrested on Thursday after allegedly attempting to buy sex online.

A spokesperson for the Ohio Attorney General's Office told 3News that the arrest happened on June 13 during an undercover sting operation targeting individuals who were attempting to buy sex online.

The undercover sex sting was conducted by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force with the assistance of the Salem Police Department.

Officials say that Dr. Yin was arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools.

Yin was booked in the Columbiana County Jail.
