Missing Youngstown teen found safe

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — UPDATE: Authorities say Janya Ingram has been found safe and the Endangered Child Advisory has been canceled

PREVOUS STORY: An Endangered Missing Child Advisory has been issued by the Youngstown Police Department for a missing 16-year-old girl identified as Jenya Ingram.

“While this is not an Amber Alert, the child is believed to be in danger,” authorities said in a press release without elaborating on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Authorities say Jenya was last seen leaving her home Tuesday on the south side of Youngstown. She was wearing a light pink shirt that features Bart Simpson, blue pants and Nike shoes with the Uno color scheme.

Jenya is described as 5’4” tall and 145 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.

The Endangered Missing Child Advisory is in effect for the following regions:

  • Portage
  • Stark
  • Trumbull
  • Mahoning
  • Columbiana

Anybody with information is asked to call the Youngstown Police Department at 330-742-8916.
