CLEVELAND — Have you lived in Northeast Ohio forever? Or maybe your new to the area?
Whatever your story, the region has tons to offer when it comes to experiences and adventures.
However, at times it can be hard to find and narrow down the best ways to spend your time. That's where I come in. Normally, I keep you up to date on the latest pop culture stories everyday in Pop Break on What's New at 5 p.m.
But now, with this new segment, '3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio," I'll be sharing with you my picks for trendy things to do on the weekends.
So without further delay, here's what I think you should check out this weekend, Thursday, October 7 through Sunday, October 10.
Theresa Caputo
Up first, the "Long Island Medium," also known as Theresa Caputo will be performing live in Akron at the E.J. Thomas Hall on campus of Akron University on Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m.
The star of the popular TLC show "will share personal stories about her life and explain how her gift works. She will deliver healing messages to audience members and give people comfort knowing that their loved ones who passed are still with them, just in a different way," according to the event synopsis.

Historic Haunts Walking Tours
Second, October marked the unofficial --depends on who you ask-- start to "spooky season." So it's only right to include a haunted walking tour on this list.
The Historic Haunts Walking Tours will return to Gordon Square Friday, October 8 and Saturday, October 9 . The tours explore the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood in a new way, taking a look back "one hundred years ago and features the famous and infamous characters from a post-influenza-pandemic of Cleveland during the 1920s decade."
Walking tours begin at 6:00pm each night and leave every 10 minutes from Near West Theatre’s location at 6702 Detroit Ave. and last approximately an hour and end at Bethany Church on 65th St.
