CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio — Several Northeast Ohio counties are currently under an air quality advisory through 12 a.m. Monday, July 29, according to the National Weather Service.
The advisory covers the following counties:
- Ashtabula
- Cuyahoga
- Geauga
- Lake
- Lorain
- Medina
- Portage
- Summit
Anyone in the affected counties is asked to limit their time outside, if possible, to limit exposure to potentially unsafe air conditions.
Other tips during an Air Quality Alert include:
- Don’t idle: Turn off your engine
- Refill your gas tank after sunset
- Wait to mow the lawn
