CLEVELAND — Amazon is expanding once again in Northeast Ohio as the company has revealed plans to open three new Cleveland-area delivery stations.
These new locations – which will be in Cleveland, Bedford Heights and Glenwillow – gives Amazon capabilities “to speed up deliveries for customers in the Cleveland region.”
This also means hundreds of jobs will be available, too, starting at a minimum of $15 an hour.
“The investment that Amazon is making in the city of Cleveland speaks to our growing appeal to industry of all types and businesses of all sizes,” Mayor Frank Jackson said in a press release from Amazon. “The new jobs to be created by these new stations are a welcome investment in our local economy.”
Although an exact opening date has not yet been announced, Amazon officials expect the sites to be ready at some point this year.
Here are the exact locations of these new planned delivery stations:
- 10801 Madison AVE, Cleveland, OH 44102
- 24800 Miles Road, Bedford Heights, OH 44146
- 43500 Victory Parkway, Glenwillow, OH 44139
These spots will also be an option for Amazon Flex delivery drivers, which is like Uber for Amazon. These workers make deliveries using their own vehicles on their own schedules. Read more about Amazon Flex HERE.
