ASHTABULA COUNTY, Ohio — Two adults and one juvenile have been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened late Thursday night in Williamsfield Township.
The Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office says it was shortly before midnight when deputies responded to the scene in the area of Stanhope-Kelloggsville and Slater roads where one man had been shot in the abdomen.
After obtaining names of several possible suspects, authorities stopped a vehicle in Plymouth Township with the assistance of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Authorities say the two adult suspects will be arraigned in Ashtabula Eastern County Court.
“Additional charges are possible on several other individuals involved,” according to the press release.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
No additional information was released as authorities continue their investigation.
