CLEVELAND -- Starting Tuesday, Dec. 3, prices for parking in the CLE Smart Parking Garage and Blue Lot at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will increase by $1.50.
"Even with the increase, we still have some of the lowest parking rates compared to other airports across the country, particularly in the Midwest," said Airport Director Ricky Smith. "These parking locations are still a great value for passengers travelling through CLE."
Parking in the CLE Smart Parking Garage will increase to $15.50 per day for short-term parking, and $11.50 per day after 72-hours. Blue Lot parking will increase to $9.50 daily.
The Red Lot, Orange Lot and valet rates will stay the same. If travelers parked at the airport prior to December 3rd, the rate will remain same.
Each parking area at CLE has its own benefits:
- The CLE Smart Parking Garage features a guidance system to help you locate open spaces, is covered and is attached on the 1st and 3rd floor to the airport terminal
- The Red Lot is the closest of the airports on-site surface parking located just north of the Terminal baggage claim level exit nearest to Carousel 1. This lot will have a canopy system added in the near future
- The Blue Lot, which is located across the street from the Red Lot, is an economy surface parking lot that offers shuttle service to the baggage claim level
- The Orange Lot is economy surface parking located just east of the Smart Parking Garage in the former footprint of the Long Term Garage. Orange Lot parkers currently use a cross-walk to enter the CLE Smart Parking Garage to access the terminal. In the near future, a skywalk will connect Orange Lot parking customers to the CLE Smart Parking Garage to access the terminal.
All on-site parking has security cameras and patrols.
