CLEVELAND — Klutch Sports Group Founder, CEO and Cleveland native Rich Paul will be returning home for a conversation with Mayor Justin Bibb and the community at Tri-C in October.
"Homecoming: Overcoming Struggle, Finding Success and Taking Pride in Cleveland" will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Tri-C Metro Campus Auditorium.
Bibb and Paul will have "an engaging conversation with the audience about what it’s like growing up in Cleveland, the challenges it presents, and what steps youth today can take to ensure future success in their career paths."
“It’s a real privilege to come back to Cleveland to celebrate the release of my memoir, Lucky Me. The book details how this city shaped me into the businessman and person I am today,” said Paul. “To be able to now sit down with the Mayor of Cleveland, who I am lucky enough to call a good friend, is a very surreal moment.”
The event, which is open to the public, comes a day after the release date of "LUCKY ME: A Memoir of Changing the Odds,” – a book about Paul’s life story. All attendees who register for the event HERE will receive a free copy of the newly released book. The event is sold out to the public.
“I am so excited to welcome home one of the most influential figures in the sports industry,” said Mayor Bibb. “Rich’s remarkable journey is something I hope Cleveland’s youth and young adults can look at for inspiration and realize that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.”
Paul founded KLUTCH Sports Group in 2012 in Cleveland. Since then, he has helped to put athletes, including LeBron James, first and empower them to build careers and brands on and off the court.
