WESTLAKE, Ohio — FirstEnergy crews and members with the Westlake Fire Department reported to a scene on Dover Center Road about a quarter-mile to the Bay Village border on Wednesday evening after a woman attempted to drive over downed power lines and a tree limb.
3News' Monica Robins spoke with Westlake Fire officials on the scene who said that a tree limb fell and took out power lines, and that the woman's car got stuck over the live power lines.
The Illuminating Company showed up late Wednesday and shut down power to the area in order to safely remove the woman from her car.

Police officials closed off northbound Dover Center Road in Westlake is closed just north of Detroit Road.
A spokesperson with The Illuminating Company tells 3News that they expect power to be restored to nearby homes by 11:30 p.m.
