Missing woman's body found in Cleveland, man charged

WADSWORTH, Ohio -- Police here say that the missing person investigation of Lorrie L. Pratt, 49, of Creston, has resulted in her body being recovered within the City of Cleveland Nov. 5.

Wadsworth Police say the official confirmation of the identity of the body was recently made by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

This death investigation is now being conducted by members of the Cleveland Police Department, according to Wadsworth Police.

Cleveland Police say they located the body of a white woman in a field near E. 131st Street and Coit Road at approximately 1:45 pm. Wednesday.

Her yellow Chevrolet Cobalt was located this past weekend in the city of Cleveland on E. 122nd Street.

Cleveland Police say that Kevin B. Fisher, 34, of Wadsworth, was taken into custody by the Cleveland Police Department and charged with gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Police say Fisher led police to the body.

Wadsworth Police will continue to work with the Cleveland Police Department in their investigation.
