CLEVELAND — The U.S. Marshals have arrested two separate murder suspects and a woman who was wanted for aggravated vehicular assault in Northeast Ohio.

All of the arrests happened on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

“Members of our task force worked diligently to find and arrest all three of these fugitives whose violence and disregard for life has devastated the families of their victims," said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott.

Below are details regarding each arrest.

18-year-old Jermaine Mittman

Mittman was arrested at a home in the 16200 block of Throckley Avenue in Cleveland. Mittman was wanted by East Cleveland police in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy. Officials say the shooting happened in the 13000 block of 6th Avenue. Police responded to a ShotSpotter notification and later found the victim at the hospital, where he died.

21-year-old Ja'Moneae Bowen

Bowen was arrested at a home in the 7100 block of Garden Valley Avenue in Cleveland. Bowen was wanted by Cleveland police in connection with the July 7 deadly shooting of Jaycobe Mynatt. Officials say that Bowen and Mynatt were involved in a verbal altercation at a car meet-up in the Steelyard Commons when the argument turned deadly, and Mynatt was shot.

33-year-old Shamonte Allen

The U.S. Marshals also arrested Allen at a home in the 12200 block of Holborn Avenue in Cleveland. Allen was wanted for aggravated vehicular assault after she allegedly drove under the influence and crashed into another vehicle. Officials noted that the victim in the case is now paralyzed.
