Brunswick police: Verizon employee zip-tied, held at gunpoint by robbery suspects

Brunswick police are searching for two remaining suspects who are "considered armed and dangerous."

BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Brunswick police are searching for two remaining suspects after a Verizon employee was allegedly zip-tied and robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

Brunswick police say they responded to Verizon on Center Road at around 9:02 p.m. for the report of an armed robbery. 

The victim, who was an employee at Verizon, had his hands allegedly zip-tied and was held at gunpoint while three suspects took cash and merchandise from the safe and the store. 

Police say that all suspects exited the store in an unknown direction. After investigating, police arrested Sean McCarthy in Olmsted Township. He is currently being held at the Medina County Jail and was charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping. 

At this time, Brunswick police are searching for two unknown suspects "considered armed and dangerous."
