On Monday, " Walls of Love" posted to Facebook that six of their signs are missing. The signs are missing from the following areas:

  • Steelyard
  • Old Brooklyn
  • The Waterloo Arts District
  • East Cleveland
  • Detroit Avenue

Valued at $80 each, the organization called the act " disheartening" on Facebook.

"I'm VERY sad to report 6 of WALL of LOVE's signs have been stolen/disappeared. This is very disheartening at $80 each :(
I want to cry."

Created by Cleveland resident, Holly Jackson, the sites collect coats, hats and gloves for the homeless on fences across Northeast Ohio.

Jackson, once homeless herself created the sites as a way to give back and is just asking for the signs to be returned--No questions asked.

Jackson told WKYC that she hopes to continue the program and expand with the addition of "blessing bags" that contain toiletries and non-perishable foods.
