A judge on Thursday granted an early judicial release to a man who pleaded guilty to skinning a dog.
WFMJ reports that Scott Winter, 46, was sentenced to a year behind bars in October after he posted video of himself skinning a dog suspended from a tree to Facebook.
Winter was arrested after the video was posted in August.
Winter's girlfriend, Victoria Young, was also arrested for lying to police about animal bones found in a fire pit outside the couple's Palmmyra Road home. She initially told police the bones were from steak and chicken, but later admitted the skull was the dog's.
Young was convicted of animal cruelty and falsification. She completed a 90-day sentence in October, according to WFMJ.
