CLEVELAND — October 28 is National Chocolate Day and Malley's Chocolates is celebrating by being named to Peter's Chocolates lists of 12 U.S. candy businesses making their mark on the industry.
Peter's Chocolate is the leading provider of chocolate to the Cargill Chocolate empire. The company selected confectioners from all across the United States and each of the 12 businesses will be featured in a collectible 2020 calendar.
“We’re celebrating the accomplishments of these 12 confectioners whose passionate commitment to confectionery artistry is apparent in their inspiring use of flavors and ingredients and dedication to quality artisanship,” said Filip Buggenhout, managing director, Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate North America. “These chocolatiers are truly at the forefront of our industry, inspiring us with their creativity, imagination and devotion to their craft.”
Malley's Chocolate, which opened in 1935, owns 23 locations in the Cleveland/Akron area and is known for its family history. The company still relies on it's original recipes from 85-years-ago.
"The third generation continues to grow the Malley’s brand, while remaining intently focused on product quality, consistency and customer satisfaction," a press release from Cargill says.
