Fiona holds a big place in Cincinnati's heart.

Soon, this beloved hippo will hold a big place on a Cincinnati wall.

ArtWorks and Fiona's home, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, will produce a mural this summer to honor the premature Nile hippopotamus that beat the odds.

Thane Maynard from the Cincinnati Zoo and Tamara Harkavy from ArtWorks will announce the details about the new Downtown building mural at 3 p.m. Monday.

This will be just the latest in a variety of tributes to social media star, who was born six weeks early in January 2017.

Since then, the remarkably cute animal and first of its kind to be hand-raised has inspired ice cream flavors and tattoos, children's books and key chains.

ArtWorks often honors celebrities, animals and celebrity animals in its public art mural program.

In part summers, the nonprofit's youth apprentices and artist leaders have painted Cincinnati legends like Rosemary Clooney and James Brown, the Lazarus lizards and flying pigs.

And on Eighth Street, the group depicts an animal that was as rare as Fiona.

There, you'll find a mural of Martha, the last passenger pigeon.

She died at the Cincinnati Zoo in 1914.
