Former President Donald Trump is returning to the Buckeye State. On Tuesday, the 45th President of the United States announced that he will be hosting a rally at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown on Saturday, Sept. 17.

J.D. Vance, the Republican nominee for Ohio's open Senate seat that will be vacated by the retiring Rob Portman, will attend the event as a "special guest." The rally is taking place in the district of Vance's opponent, Democratic nominee Tim Ryan (OH-13).

In addition to Vance, the rally will be attended by "the entire Ohio Trump Ticket" who will also address the gathering:

  • Rep. Jim Jordan, U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 4th Congressional District
  • Rep. Bill Johnson, U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 6th Congressional District
  • Max Miller, Republican Nominee for U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 7th Congressional District
  • Madison Gesiotto Gilbert, Republican Nominee for U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 13th Congressional District
  • J.R. Majewski, Republican Nominee for U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 9th Congressional District

A timeline of events for the rally has been announced as follows:

  • 8 a.m. – Parking Lots, Vendor Row, and Registration Open
  • 2 p.m. – Doors Open
  • 4 p.m. – Special Guest Speakers Deliver Remarks
  • 7 p.m. – 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump Delivers Remarks

Those interested in attending can register for tickets here.

The upcoming rally comes amid mounting speculation regarding whether Trump will declare his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. That speculation has only been amplified by the FBI's raid on his residence in Mar-a-Lago to recover classified documents that he allegedly took with him during his time at the White House that occurred last month.
