Gov. Mike DeWine encourages Ohioians to fly flags as symbol of unity; show us your flag photos

Together, we will get through this.

OHIO, USA — The coronavirus pandemic is impacting people across the nation. Preventative measure have placed a strains on families, businesses and organizations.

As a state, Ohioians have stepped up to do what they can to help one another and to stay positive. 

On Thursday, Gov. Mike DeWine encouraged Ohioians to fly their American and state flags as a symbol of unity. 

" I ask all my fellow Ohio citizens to do that, we will get through this," DeWine said during his press conference. 

We want to see your displays. Once your flag is up, take a photo and share it on social media and tag @wkyc and we'll share them on-air and online.

The Ohio Department of Health announced Thursday afternoon that there are now 119 confirmed cases in the state. 33 of those people have been hospitalized.
