COLUMBUS, Ohio — Governor DeWine took time Sunday to celebrate Ohio's fallen service members.
"Each Memorial Day we remember those throughout history who gave their livest o protect the freedoms we know today," Governor DeWine said in a press release.
Despite not being able to celebrate together, Governor DeWine commemorated the holiday by placing a wreath at Veterans Plaza at the Ohio Statehouse.
"Although we could not gather together to pay tribute to these brave Americans this year, it is still important to take time to recognize the meaning of Memorial Day and remember Ohio's fallen service members."
