COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hundreds of people have gathered at the Statehouse Sunday for a fourth straight day of protests.
People have been gathering in downtown Columbus to protest after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last Monday.
The number of people gathered at the Statehouse on Sunday has grown through the morning and the early afternoon.
State troopers are on the steps of the Statehouse.
People from Shiloh Christian Center on Broad Street area also at the Statehouse and said they gathered to pray for peace.
In response to the recent protests and rioting, Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther announced a citywide curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. that began Saturday night.
Police announced there were 59 people arrested on Saturday.
