GROVE CITY, Ohio — A statewide Amber Alert has been canceled after officials say a 10-year-old girl was taken by her mother in the Greater Columbus area late Wednesday night.
According to police, Miangel Thomas was abducted just before 11:30 p.m. from the 2900 block of Addison Drive in Grove City. She was "believed to be in immediate danger," but was later found safe around 1:45 a.m. Thursday.
It is not known if the child's mother, 30-year-old Rajon Drake, will face charges.
