ELYRIA, Ohio — Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine will make stops in Lorain County and Cuyahoga County Tuesday, August 30, to promote Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio, a news release said.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine will join her.
First Lady DeWine will first stop at Lorain County’s Imagination Library Community Celebration and host a book reading. She will speak from 11-11:30 a.m. at Elyria Public Library System's Central Branch at 211 Second Street.
Next, they will head to Caledonia Elementary School for another book reading for East Cleveland Schools. That event starts at 3 p.m. at 914 Caledonia Avenue in Cleveland Heights.
"Statewide, the Imagination Library has enrolled 343,490 kids, totaling 48% of eligible kids within Ohio. The Imagination Library mails kids one high-quality, age-appropriate book each month until their 5th birthday," the news release said.
All Ohio children – from birth to age 5 – are eligible to be enrolled in the program at no cost to their family. You can sign up HERE.
