Ohio woman wanted for stealing butterfly from Cincinnati conservatory

Cincinnati Police identified a suspect wanted in connection to the theft of a butterfly from Krohn Conservatory.

On Friday police released a mugshot and said Jamie Revis, 36, of Springfield Township, is wanted on theft charges.

According to court documents, information from Instagram was used to identify Revis.

The theft took place on April 15 around 5 p.m. Krohn Conservatory, located at 1501 Eden Park Drive.

A suspect entered the Butterfly Exhibit and stole a Blue Morpho butterfly, police said.

Security camera footage showed the suspect walking through the landscape. Footage shows that she was confronted by someone who tries to stop her from walking through the exit door.
